Conditions and requirements
1. Organizers
ARTECLASICA CONTEMPORANEA 2012 is organized by The Pictorial Bardon Group located in Valentín Gómez 3071 3rd. floor, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Phone/fax: +54 11 4866-5600 info@arteclasica.com.ar
2. Place, Dates and schedules
ARTECLASICA CONTEMPORANEA 2012 will be held from 3 to 7 MAY, 2012 at Pavilion 5 of the Centro Costa Salguero Convention Center, Salguero St. and Costanera Ave., Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Exhibitions hours: 2 to 10 PM.
Inauguration: May 3, 2012 at 7 PM.
Mounting stands: May 3, 2012 from 7 to 12 PM.
Dismantling of stands: May 7, 2012 from 9:30 PM. Without exception, it is prohibited to dismantle the booth before schedule.
3. Exhibits
ARTECLASICA CONTEMPORANEA 2012 shows both modern and contemporary art in different categories: painting, drawing, engraving, photography, sculpture, digital art, etc.
4. Exhibitors
Art galleries, art dealers, publishers, cultural institutions from Argentina and abroad.
5. requirements
Participants must complete the Registration Form, which can be obtained from headquarters and submitted to the Organization together with a project that includes a minimum of three color photographs and biography for each artist to display before March 1st, 2012 as last date.
The participation of any artist in previous years does not guarantee participation in ARTECLASICA CONTEMPORANEA 2012.
All forms and projects, without exception, will be evaluated by the Selection Committee will decide the possibility of participation of each exhibitor.
The Selection Committee is composed by Osvaldo Mastromauro, Julio Sapollnik and Andrés Bardon.
6. Contract conditions
Stand Reservation: Each exhibitor may reserve space in advance by sending payment of 20% of the required footage. The percentage shall be conditional to a referendum, it will be effective once ARTECLASICA CONTEMPORANEA 2012 Organizing Committee accepts the draft submitted. The remaining must be paid before March 15th, 2012 with the agreed values and be included with the advance payment in the invoice.
If not accepted the assigned project to date, the payment / advance will be refunded.
Payment methods: any payments can be made through bank deposits, personal checks or cash within the contractually agreed date, otherwise the punitive damages shall be payable for (one and a half times the prevailing interest rate charged by the Bank Nación Argentina for bank overdrafts until the full and effective compliance with the obligation). Personal Payments must be made at the headquarters of ARTECLASICA CONTEMPORANEA 2012, without exception.
If the balance has not been completed in terms of exhibitors lose their right to participate and claim the election booth without any notification, the organizers of this stand may provide at its discretion.
7. Fundamental standards of presentation of the stand
The works displayed in each booth must be prepared properly spaced and not allow works on the floor or outside the boundaries of the contracted space.
IMPORTANT
May not be performing more than one artist for every three linear feet of wall in the disciplines of two dimensions. It will not be performing more than one artist per 9 square meters in terms of the work of sculpture and objects.
Failure to comply with this rule shall entitle the ARTECLASICA CONTEMPORANEA 2012 organization and, through the selection committee and curator, to withdraw the work in each space surplus so requires.
Projects with small format work (up to 30 x 30 cm) can not display the work of over 10 artists.
All these conditions are linked to the overall appearance of the Fair. On May 3, 2012, representatives of the Selection Committee and Curation, will assess the readiness of all the works in each stand and can decide whether an item should be removed.
8. Pricing
The value of the stand for ARTECLASICA CONTEMPORANEA 2012 is set at USD 195 per m2 (per square meter), taxes included.

Exhibitors may hire panels and / or additional lights for their expense. Exhibitors who wish to have special characteristics in the booth must first consult with the Organizing Committee of ARTECLASICA CONTEMPORANEA 2012.

9. Responsibilities
Exhibitors are solely responsible for all damages sustained by and also against third parties and its own personnel, civil, criminal and labor and face administrative consequences from the use they are given and the material presented, including accidents work, damages, fire, accidents, thefts, explosives or any other circumstances.
10. Catalogue
Every exhibitor must contract an institutional page in the catalog ARTECLASICA CONTEMPORANEA 2012. This page is mandatory and not included in the price of the stand. The value of each page is USD 200 plus taxes.
We will not accept more than two photos per page or photo collages.
The photographs must be delivered only in paper format, professional quality, or digital in a CD (jpg or tif format for PC at 300 dpi and a width of not less than 20 cm. The images and corresponding data (author, title, dimensions, technical and year of execution) and data from the exhibitor should be sent to the headquarters of the organization before March 1st, 2012, along with the form included in the inventory duly completed. Any additional page will be charged for USD 175 plus taxes.
The catalog design will be responsible of ARTECLASICA CONTEMPORANEA 2012.
11. Contract
This document should be signed by each exhibitor to hire its space and the firm constitutes acceptance of each of the clauses of these General Regulations.
